Minutes of the Bolton Tennis League Committee meeting held at 7pm on Friday 14 August 2026 at Lostock Tennis Club.

Present: Messrs. Cashmore, Caswell,  Pearson, Saunders & Taylor.

Apologies for absence: Messrs. Al-Chalabi, Maslivec, Prince, Nuttall, Ms. S Francis, Ms J Holmes, Ms Morley, Ms Perry

Due to the very poor attendance no decisions or approval of reports could be made. It was commented that we tended to agree with a point made by the Mixed Match Secretary.

• Vicky Postill was introduced to the few present as a possible future Junior Match Secretary, but could not be co-opted as we were not quorate.
• The committee photograph section of the website needs updating.
• The Cecil Cup is beyond repair, and there are hardly any spaces for future winners to be added. It really needs replacing. Options were discussed, but will need to be ratified when we have a Committee.
• The deadline for ordering extra trophies is Thursday 27th August – Newsletter.
• A new banner is needed for presentation evening.
• A request was made for help in setting up from 3pm.
