Cecil Cup: This week is Cecil Cup week Round 1.

Please note the Cecil Cup handicap and the competition is based on games won. You stop the set when one side has reached 6 in a game. So the maximum score is 6-5. We don't want any at 7 - 5, 6 - 6 or tie breaks.

The handicaps have been calculated by a new algorithm. Please contact Paul Cashmore of Lostock if you find any anomalies.

Yesterday, Club Secretaries and a few mixed captains were given the new secret link to enter Cecil Cup match cards. It will not appear here, because as with the other links, they must never appear on and public websites.

Junior Matches. Another reminder needed apparently. David Loyd Chorley are playing from David Lloyd Bolton while their courts are out of commission.

Entering Match Cards: I have been asked to remind those who enter match cards. If a name does not auto select, don't leave a blank space. It most likely means that the club has not registered the player. So, please type the name in. This will then show up as something that needs sorting within two weeks on the match card.
