My email is changing: It's a pain in the backside, but I'm afraid it is changing from roycaswell@virginmedia.com to roy132caswell@gmail.com

The original should still work throughout the summer until I get terminated. Please update your contatcs list.

The No Match Rule Reminder: Most of the leagues have quite a few open dates. It is important to make sure no player is in contravention of this rule.

If your team happens to have an open date or in fact no match for any reason, then if you have played two or more league matches for higher teams than the lower team, then you cannot play for the lower team. It is a simple straightforward arithmetical calculation.

The opposition should expect to play, as far as possible, the team they would have played had the higher team had a match as normal. So, it's your week off, not some other unfortunate pushed out of their normal team.

Three Court Clubs Reminder: As you know things run smoothly with a three way rotation. Although play can be delayed on a third court until 7.15pm, please let the opposition know if one pair will be arriving late so they can also allow for this.

Chorley Tennis Club Parking: We have had another complaint from Chorley Cricket Club about visiting teams using their very limited number of car parking spaces.

Please be aware of the guidance in the League Handbook and ask that you share this with your teams prior to visiting us. We will try to remind visiting Captains before they set off.

"Please park on Walgarth Drive, Chorley. There is a clearly marked footpath to the courts by no. 10 Walgarth Drive. The parking adjacent to the tennis courts, accessed via the Cricket Club, is for the sole use of their players and members."

Early Start: This is the second week of 6.15pm commencement of play for a minority of clubs. Then we will be back to normal.
